Re: Remote printing from a MAC

I tried setting it up like this, but there were problems. I may have configured something wrong, but the printer periodically refused to print even though it was turned on and the cartridges were full of ink.

Re: Are single fan 2060's worth even considering?

I have an MSI graphics card. 2 fans that only activate when the graphics card heats up. But they work almost silently. The sound is very quiet. She is already 4 years old, but I still do not complain and am in no hurry to change. Works great.

Re: Silent Wings 3... high speed or normal version? (3950x build)

As a rule, ordinary coolers are enough, if you do not overload the computer in the summer. And if you actively use it in the very heat, then the coolers will not cool much - they will drive hot air. If you want to extend the work of your computer, be careful in the heat. Everything will be OK.

Re: freezer packs

So you need to follow. I dismantle my computer twice a year and clean it from dust. I monitor the condition of the cooling system. Therefore, there are no problems and there is no big noise even from ordinary coolers - I regularly lubricate them, they work with a minimum noise level.

Re: x570 - unplugging the chipset fan

If the load on the computer is not high, then it is quite possible to work with the cooler turned off. But if the load is too high, the computer will overheat. The cooling system should still work, even if there is a slight noise from the computer. By the way, on a perfectly flat and stable surface,...

Re: Multi-CPU general motherboard design

I agree. In a regular retail store, such a motherboard will not be. For home use, it is not needed, it will only collect dust. You need to contact the manufacturers of server hardware. They can suggest suitable options.

Re: Having speakers and headphones at the same time?

If the computer is not adapted for such functionality, it may be difficult to connect. The sound card may not correctly pick up connected playback devices. You can try different options suggested above, but be prepared for the fact that it may not work or work with the wrong result that you want.

Re: Question about tempered glass

Depends on the quality of the glass and how flat the floor is. If the leg of your work chair falls into the place under which there is a recess, the glass may crack. Do not forget that the pressure on the glass will be very limited in area, which will increase the pressure. This is similar to walkin...

Re: iPad??? WTF, Are the Apple execs complete idiots?

Well, yes, over the past 10 years, technology has not only stepped forward - it has jumped forward. And people have become more lazy and demanding. Because of this, it is difficult to find good, responsible employees. 90% of them come. who want to earn, but will not work. The technical process has i...

Re: Laptops with Large Windows of Silence

Depends on the intensity of the load. If you plan on running processes that require a lot of resources, then a quiet laptop is not for you. The consumption of resources automatically causes the device to heat up, and hence the noise of the coolers.
