Lian-Li V1100B
I decided to order in this case just to see what it is made of, I have tried the Sonata and the P180 and I have to say in my humble opinion this is a much better case. The layout is superior(similar) to the P180. Easier to work in, easier to route cables, better hard drive location and access. Bette...

Why no mention of the nice Lian-Li Cases
I really like the looks of the PC-V1100B, It seems very similar to the P180 but it is sure to have better fit and finish because it is made by Lian-Li. Is it soley the price and, somewhat no as readily available or is something else holding people back from this case. http://www.lian-li.com/Product/...

I personally would end up buying an intel processor, with the 925 chipset, but that is just me. I do not know if it is the nforce4 that causes all the problems but it is definetly something. I would consider a DFI board but research as much as possible don't rush into anything because I have heard c...

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium/Deluxe Complaints/Compliments
I wanted to start a thread for people to talk about this board and the problems that everyone has had with it. Preferably a list of the best hardware to combine with this unit to prevent the lockups and BSOD's. I have finally got my system stable and right now do not really know what the main culpri...

I built a very similar system and have had all kinds of trouble trying to get it to be stable, I have been screwing around for just about two weeks and now it is running smooth over a day without a BSOD and I have been gaming in BF2 and Quake 4. I have also ran FAH. But back to the point it is a ver...

If money is real no problem get your design hat out and then go talk a machine shop into building you everything. Or one thing that is not so complicated but really cool is to water cool your system using buried copper pipe. Built an addition to your studio and put all your computer equipment in ano...

Honestly I still say stay away from water cooling. I have helped friends set there systems up and I've watched the spend all kinds of money to have this great system, that is not that much better than I am running and definetely not quiter. Sure it was fun to set up and it sure is something to brag ...

I would say move up to the nvidia 5900xt. That is one of the best deals on the market right now, for around $270 CAN, or if you can find a cheap 9800pro I have seen them as low as $350. The 9600xt just doesn't pack the same price per performance range, about $240 CAN. Speaking from experience I have...

Koolance is a totally nice system, definetly the best all in one unit. Know real setup no need to mount all the pump and rad and whatever else inside your case. People that have never used them say they don't cool well because the units has more of a low flow approach than most custom setups. Koolan...

Definetely watch those temps if you are going without a fan. I run my 9600XT without a fan, and the zalman sink and the temps can definetly get up there. I have seen up to 50C on warm days. Not a problem but the 9800pro puts out a lot more heat than the 9600XT I would suggest a 5V L1A mounted on the...

Honeslty it is not something that is really going to cause any problems, overapplying thermal past is not really a problem. If your Sink is properly made and installed there should be some pressure on the on the surface of the processor which will level out any paste that is there. The only real pro...

What you have is a heatsink that is not all that good. I am sure it is a nice sink but not with running a low flow fan. You are seeing temps of 56C now with 35cfm you would have to have at least that much going accross it to maintain temps. You can't be running very silent pushing 35cfm through an 8...
