I would skip the Noctua's... I have them in my NSK-2480 and they're not as quiet as one would think they should be. qft had 2 of these, but use one now... at full speed this thing is loudest thing in my case, but it's not a bad loud so it's tolerable. do drives fail faster if running in raid0 mode?
i mean if any drive just DIES on me, i'd lose data on that drive anyway... right?

Not only is it half the height of other Core 2 stock heatsinks, the fan is actually louder, at least at mid to full speed (E8400 vs. E4400 heatsink). At low speed, you can live with it, but when it ramps up, you'll want to kill yourself. :wink: at times i wonder how i used to live with a 80mm vante...

with 4 harddrives in my antec solo, it's a really tight fit because of the placement of the pci-e power connector on my BBA x1950pro


granted, an S1 or S2 would fit easily but it might be tight if you have all your hdd bays full and cables are going everywhere

benq x800 is quiet as laptop keyboards

the only problem with it is that it's a curved keyboard...

some people can't stand it, i don't mind it so it's good for me=)
