Re: GTX 1070 Review Compilation Thread

Haven't been on here in years, but just wanted to chime in on the EVGA 1070 FTW. My first video card upgrade in five years and I am really disappointed in it. The quality control in these is atrocious. I've tried THREE brand new cards now and all three have been more or less the same. The fans are j...

How tight a fit was the Mini in the Antec Fusion with the cover on? The images are all taken at an angle so it's a bit hard to see. Is the mounted Ninja higher than the small pci slot 'ledge' where the graphic card (and others) screws into? The reason I'm asking is that I might consider one for my o...

http://www.apple.com/keyboard/ Could the new Apple keyboard be a candidate for quiet systems? Apple has had some quality keyboards in their laptops (and desktops) in the past, so I would assume this to be good quality, if nothing else. Pretty nice features as well, with the usb-ports and all - the o...

The problem is that the board may only allow you to set the fan voltage between 8v and 12v, as it does on the Abit AB9 Quadgt with the newest BIOS. The BIOS the QuadGT was released with allowed a much better range from 6v to 12v (however it had some serious bugs in other ways, thus needing an update...

Well, the mouse has nothing to do with the keyboard. Maybe under "cheap keyboard" you meant "motherboard" ? If that's the case I disagree, take a look at my previous post and you'll see that I managed to connect five devices at once to the mobo without problems. Pretty strange situation. Oops, sorr...

I'm fairly sure the problem is because the keyboard has a low power USB hub. Most keyboards, especially cheaper ones, with USB hubs employ only low power versions that are enough to drive a standard mouse but not a flash drive or digital camera. This means that there's not much you can do about it, ...

Just a few quick questions about the water. Would adding anti-algae and anti-corrosive fluid to normal tap water be about the same as using distilled water? Does the anti-corrosive fluid nullify the effects of the minerals in normal tap water? Also, I remember reading that mixing some glycol with wa...
