Should I be worried?
I was reading the post about how asus is inaccurate in displaying proper CPU temps. Does this apply to the CPU temp only or to the motherboard as well?. my idle temps are from 45-48 and load is round 50-52. Case is from 35-38. I am using MBM and the numbers seem to reflect bios as well. my system sp...

Thermalright Pads
I have the 4 thermalright pads on the HS. I want to buy a shim to protect my 3200+ a combination of shim + 4 pads= no contact? or maybe it does. I am not sure. I just want to make sure that it will have perfect contact even if I put the shim on.

HEAT! SP 97 on Asus A7N8X Deluxe
I have a new Barton 3200+ with the Thermalright SLK-800CU. I am wondering if I can use the same base (what is under the motherboard) with the SP97 and all I have to do is screw it in and it will be fine. And what good 92mm fans are out there? I am currently using an underclocked L1A. And has anyone ...

THey are both sata and the drives seem to be working fine. I reset the cmos and now it is found again. Could it be that my memory timings were all messed up? I was using 333 at 2225 settings but i got a 400 mhz fsb cpu and i left it at 2225 settings. could that have been the problem? Thanks

Yes you should have an exhaust but perhaps u can undervolt all the way down to 5 v. If you take out exhaust the PSU fan will be blowing out even warmer air. The exhaust is basically ur second PSU fan so it is a good idea ot have one especially if ur ocing

What kind of CPU do you have??? If it is or "goin to be" super warm then the new SLk 947 sould be choice. The one I was going to reccomend wasn't even there...hmmm slk-800U. The statistics of those fan are physically too good to be true. Those number state increadible noise/air ratio. click,.....click....click
Clickyness is really not by type of fan, it is more luck than anything. Some fans click...some fans don't..luck of the draw. I would actually reccoment Panaflo over Papst since I have both and I think Panaflo has a better air/noise ratio especially when undervolted. Panaflo 80mm are usually very rel...

how low can you go?
I was just wondering how low I could undervolt my panaflo L1a on my zalman 400 APF. I have a fanmate attached to it and I was wondering if it is safe to undervolt it to around 5 or 6 v. My computer is in the basement and itz around 19 C so it is pretty cool where my computer is. Case temp goes to ab...

this may be a troublesome thing to do but reflash with your old bios and see if the temps change or download some software that monitors it. I don't know any extremely accurate software but I bet it is available somewhere.

ummmm nope
those temps sound quite off considering that your using a low wattage CPU with respects to the 3 ghz out these days and you are also undervolted. try increasing the fan voltage to see if there is a temperature drop.. the volcano series wasn't that great especially if you modded it with a 6 v fan.
