Re: Is SPCR Dead?

Why this board isn't not perfect for you ? Yes you can drive each fan indpendantly based on each sensor, either the built in ones in the GPU slots, or those sensors. Its not quite as a good as a direct feed from GPU itself. You can also assign each fan its own curve, handy as the temps you would ge...

His reply was very logical: In Sweden it's cold outdoors, in Britain it's cold inside the houses! The GPU temps are worriesome with a cozy room temperature... This is typical of the UK more people die of exposure in the UK than Sweden as well, we don't really take the cold seriously enough. ... It'...

I can vouch for my EVGA G2 850w if that helps?

Also I am in the Fife/Edinburgh area and I am not using my old Coolermaster Silent Pro M 600w. It doesn't have a passive mode, but is pretty quiet.

If they offer you a replacement have a look at the EVGA G3 550w its pretty compact.

... The main issue in the UK with the Kotetsu Mark II is finding it, and finding it at Scythe's intended price point which is supposed to be around that of the Cooler Master 212 Evo, around £27. Yeah the main issue is that Scythe EU is based in Germany. This usually means that the UK lags behind ge...

Or you could buy RGB fan frames http://www.phanteks.com/Halos.html http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?area=usa&pid=741 Something like the the Noctua Redux line would show off as they are dark grey, so will illuminate just a bit better than black. Re: Silent EATX (E-ATX) Case?

Looks like the BeQuiet! Dark Base 900 or Nanoxia Deep Silence 5 Rev. B fit the bill. I would say the FT02, but it won't take those monster GPUs, 32cm in length. Both of the above will support those with all the cages in, but I would think about getting some clear airflow in.

Not great http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/ ... 6/?page=14
but bare in mind the 56 is about the same draw as the 580, so really not all that bad for the power. Though miners may also think so.

We will see what the board partners make.

Jayz2cents found that as well, but his was using an overkill liquid loop.

My mate has one, pretty case, but expect to run your fans higher to compensate for the front and top. Shame it is very well made. The window is really nicely sealed around, not just free floating.

Very low powered (30w), not a powerhouse gaming wise, but has 2GB of GDDR5 so seems fine for indie games and high res displays.

When I was younger I used to always buy from open box/clearance sections to save a bit of cash. The one benefit to buying refurb from a well known site is that you might get a warranty.

I have fans that work fine, but now tick as they spin, so bare that in mind.

Not had much experience these days.

Whats the current state of UEFI Fan Control on Motherboards?

Hi All,

I know Asrock used to be number one with MSI and Asus close second. Has Gigabyte/Aorus caught up at all? I know the X299 boards support fan stopping as well as profiles.

Does anyone have any RL experience?

Not so bad here Kotetsu £33 Mugen Max £42 U14S £52. Mainly as the Noctua retails through Amazon, so its a bit cheaper. To be honest for aircoolers the UK is pretty good, I still shake my head when I know my mate spent £130 on a Kraken X62. He just doesn't like the look of Air coolers :-/ each to the...

There is a review on a Netherlands website that tests both of them . In short, according to them, the Scythe Mugen Max is the best of the two performance-wise. In the UK the Mugen Max is readily available but the Kotetsu is much harder to find. As the review notes the Mugen Max is somewhat more exp...

RGB, can be useful and nice, a bit like a desktop wallpaper really. I agree with the glass thing, I think I would like better mounting, so it seals better around the side and is easier to open/close. Like the Inwin 303 mounting with the seal of the Phanteks Evolv ATX. The Evolv MATX TGL has a nice s...

I totally get the RGB look and the people that don't. I've had the Fractal Define R2 since it came out 7 years ago. Since then there has been an explosion of pretty minimal designed cases. The FT05 is actually more metal, like a Fractal Define http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1445-page1.html

The RV05 is the more budget, gamery, plasticy version.
