For an IONITX, what do you need the extra room for -- unless you want more drives, maybe? The heatsink is integrated, and both cases need a slim optical drive... True, the SG05 - especially minus the powersupply, will be cavernous for an IONITX, with only the single 120mm fan for cooling. But I hav...

DanceMan -- There's another small case we're just starting to examine. Silverstone SG05. Fits mini-DTX -- has 2 pci slots. Also a conventional 300w psu -- which may be its achilles heel. Excellent - I just cancelled the ISK-300 on my order and swapped it for the SG05. I was really tossing up betwee...

Hi Sutcliffe, I replied to your PSU post also (I guess you changed your mind aboout the one in this thread...) With the system components in your signature, I'm not sure you need too much cooling - with only 1 hdd, a good mid-tower case, and no plans to over-clock, I think all you need is a good PSU...

Hi Sutcliffe, I bought an Enermax for my HTPC, and it HASN'T passed the W.A.F. :( My el-cheapo server case used a generic PSU (FSP-based), and I modded the fan on that to a Panaflo, and it's quieter than the Enermax. I have tried hard to source Seasonics locally, but no avail.... So, I've ordered an...

Fanless PSU in my HTPC setup? Advice please!

Hi Everyone, I took time over christmas to build my HTPC box with generally quiet parts. However, in order pass the W.A.F., the noise has to be near silent. Currently, my PSU makes the most noise, so thinking Antec Phantom, but concerned about heat/airflow. My Setup is: Accent/Kanam/DIGN/D.Vine case...

Options for a Gigabyte 92128DH

Hi Guys, I just bought this card (Radeon 9200 series) thinking it was fanless. Upon arrival, lo-an-behold, tiny fan. What are my options for this sucker? I haven't installed it yet, but I suspect it will be loud. Artic Cooling don't make a model for the 9200 series. Is this card low power enough (co...
