Will 8GB of RAM sticks affect my HSF airflow?

I am considering upgrading to 8Gb of Corsair XMS2DHX RAM. My concern is whether my Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + fan will have its airflow affected since it is very close to the RAM sticks. On cooler days in Malaysia, I'm able to get my CPU temperatures between 40-50°C. On those crazy REALLY hot...

I also have the 60Gb. I put it in my Sarotech 2.5" external casing and use it to backup my stuff. I bought after reading the recommendation on SPCR, and they're right --- it certainly is quiet.

Yeah, I find Microsoft mice to be more quieter than Logitech's. Still, the laser sounds cool but it doesn't sound safe. Even though Logitech says the laser switches off when it's not in contact with a surface. How's the accuracy? Some of the cheaper Logitech mice I used have this tendency to move ar...

Also, in using an XP-120 in a normal intel mobo in a case such as a BQE, the fan will stick out far enough to be near the middle of the exhaust fan that would make a sideway T intersection. Perhaps someone with an XP-120 and BQE combination might be able to say for sure. Maybe this is more clear: |...

awx, your HIS x800 Pro card doesn't have that switch at the back for low speed-high speed right? Does it ramp up the fan speed during gameplay?

Anyway, I was looking at it the other day at the shop and holding up the box makes me feel like I was holding a Toys'R'Us toy....

That duct is a great idea, I might implement it one day. However, in that picture it looks like it almosts covers the PSU intake. And since the PSU is primarily the exhaust of the casing, that doesn't look so good.

Do windows let out noise unnecessarily?

Well, I've seen all kinds of windows on casings, including the unique Lian Li aquarium window. But I wonder if windows let out noise unnecessarily. A window would be useful to see if the fans in my case are running or seeing if the water cooler is not leaking anything. I'm not the type to install li...

I'm planning on purchasing the 2.5" HDD enclosure from Sarotech, the Cutie DX. Anyone here uses this? I'd like to hear your comments.

Good job, Edward. I'm also interesting in getting myself a 2.5" HDD, and deciding between the Fujitsu, Hitachi and IBM Travelstar. So far, this site tends to favour Fujitsu. Does anyone use the other HDDs here?

Edward, how much does the enclosure help in reducing the HD noise and heat?

I did post my friend's comments in another 6077 thread here in this board. Noise does escape from the blowhole, I think it'd be better to remove the 80mm fan. My friend used washers to get rid of the vibration from his Zalman FB123 bracket. For some reason, SPCR didn't review the PC6070 case, which ...

If I understand correctly, you push the whole block and lift it up to remove it. It is not screwed in.

The case has one front exhaust, two back exhaust and a blowhole at the top.

The Lian Li PC6077 case has a bottom intake grill. And it comes with a dust filter too. Maybe the surface area is smaller than your mod, but it's standard with this case.
