well, according to this :

viewtopic.php?t=43387

it's the minebea that's best. however, i read a german review on hartware.de (use google to find it) that didn't recommend the 1900rpm version, nor did a singaporean forum guy at hardwarezoom.com

Here's a review http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Zalman/ZM-VF1000LED No comparison with HR 03 though. 85 $ ?! WTF is Zalman thinking on... a cooler that's 6 months late IMO and their fans are usually bad too. The big advantage with HR 03 is you can get a fan of your liking, and a 92x25mm is going ...

It sure is. I really like the noise profiles. I did some testing myself, and I actually find the test to be rather good - I prefer my 120mm minebea low over s-flex D - and even my yate d12sl - at similiar speeds. More pleasant sound to my ears. However my minebea 92mm low is horrible compared to nex...

They are indeed good answers, but notice how he avoids the thermal pad issue and mistake them for paste. However, the thermal pads stick very well but with a knife you are able to lift the pad from the chip (just be very carefull). I've done this with both accelero and silencers... no problemo 8) To...

Nope. Either thermalright ultra (and put a different fan on) or accelero x1. I had the silencer 3 - cooled poorer and was a bit louder than x1.

I got one today. The fan @ 5v were making a very irritating sound "swoosh" - worse than my accelero x1 at idle which is not that brilliant. Also, it is not temperature controlled (compared). So it went back and I do not recommend it. I simply don't get it - zalman spends so much time innovating and ...

I have not found an adapter that only uses 1 molex, however if you say they excist, I believe you. The adapter that came with my leadtek 7800GT used 2 molex. 2 molex = 1 pci-e. So with a S12 430, you are going to take away 4 molex to run 7800gtx in SLI. Imho, that's just bull to recommend, even if it's possible. There is a reason they made those pci-e plugs on their higher power versions. And lets be real: If you're serious about silence, you don't go SLI.

It's such a shame that it's not black. But after reading about Antec psu's, I would have avoided the case anyway even if it were. This are not the first issues there have been with antec psu's lately - unfortunatly - I wonder when they'll change supplier... :?

i would not go with a psu less than s12-500 (maybe enermax liberty 400w). it's only the 600w s12 that is sli certified. there is *probably* a reason why they don't put 2 x pci-e connectors on their 330w but they do on their 500 and 600w

Would you trust OCZ enough to make a 1100w psu that is reliable when their powerstream series are failing again and again. I wouldn't. :? Remember the same company who makes OCZ also makes tagan and be-quiet units and these aren't exactly topping the charts in reliability.

It isn't Nvidia SLI certified. For that reason, you should avoid it. Go for an enermax noisetaker 600w or Seasonic s12 600w.

This is a no brainer, you are going to want the enermax unit. Otherwise, try a more 'unknown' brand such as Seasonic S12. Here's reviews of both: http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/200507111/index.html
