ATI does it, too...and no I'm not a fanboy of either. I'm not talking exactly what nVidia has done, but ATI has sacrificed image quality for speed.
There's a very large thread going on about this over at the [H].
nVidia has issued some sort of statement that the flickering issue will be resolved.

ok, i know it's been a long time...after spending more time with the mcp655, i'm disappointed. It DID start out quiet...but after about the first month a small touch of whine and some deeper noise has made itself known. ;( I'm going to sell it, but not here. No one's going to want it, lol i will say...

Ninja or XP-120 for Asus A8N-SLI Premium
I really like the performance of the ninja, but I'm afraid that there won't be adequate cooling from overflow as there would be on the xp-120 for the passive nb heatpipe / mosfet cooling solution on the board.
Now at stock this might not be a problem, but I plan on o/c'in the fsb...opinions?

Haha, Edward Ng, you're half right. I didn't even think about it being used as leverage. The pa160 is completely supported by the two bungies (and two very small protrusions of metal left behind by the removed drive cage). The pump runs a little bit more than warm at the 5 setting (it's probably dum...

my new watercooling setup is all, ermm, set up. There's still just a bit of bleeding to be finished. I do have to say the Laing D5 (mcp655) is very quiet, especially for the kind of flow it can produce. I can very barely hear it when the only noisemaker in the system is my psu fan (admittedly not th...

There was a collaboration of the procooling forums (a large part being Cathar) and Thermochill. The result is an efficient radiator for low noise - should be able to cool a whole loop comfortably barring overly enthusiastic overclocking. The radiator is the pa160...I'm fairly certain it's not availa...

You can get the Coolermaster's at Jab-Tech also. They also have the 80mm flavor. I ordered two of the 120mm's and one of the 80mm's (for a v700 video heatsink I also ordered). The CM comes in various colors - I got mine in green. I picked up a 92mm L1a, also. I'll let you know how my samples fare wh...

Thermaltake CL-G0003 adequate for 6800gt?
As per thread title...I've browsed around the forums and haven't really seen anything resembling a solid answer.

Yeah, it always comes down to what you can stand, noise-wise. I can't hear mine at all @ ~1.5 meters with nothing else running (all fans stopped, hd unplugged). Maybe the background noise is higher where I live. Maybe my tolerance of certain frequencies is different. If the eheims don't give enough ...

My ddc (mcp350) is more than acceptably quiet once the loop's been completely bled of bubbles unless you have the most strict standard for silence (granted that no other site has standards as strict as spcr). I've read some posts saying that it's rather noisy. With mine sitting on about an inch of f...
