The MSI 945GT has a lot of room for any socket 478/9 cooler. There shouldn't be any interference problem with psm-5000. I am using an old Zalman 7000 cu cooler which may even have more cooper than the psm-5000. I have running a T2250 CPU with stock 1.3v and I don't think I can have fanless setup. Wi...

Your display flickering may be caused by the pre 1.4 bios getting confused with graphic output. The bios can be found here http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=bios&maincat_no=1&prod_no=243 The reason you have trouble finding it is bacause MSI has two model numbers for the sam...

If you don't mind getting Zalman 7000 instead, Zalman actually sells the older/refurb HS on ebay.

In fact, they have one on sale now. Just look for ZALMAN CNPS7000B.

A lot of temp software assume the Tjunction temp for the Txx50 CPUs as 85c. That may be the case sometimes ago. Now Txx50 CPU could have either 85c or 100c. In fact most of them are 100c. Because of this error, a lot of thermal/temp software report the wrong temp-- 15c lower.

I have been using crystalcpuid on a Opteron 165 with my DFI RS482 mobo.

It runs at 1v @ 1.8ghz (6x 300 fsb) 1375v @ 2.7ghz (9x300fsb). At 1.8ghz, it idles at around 40c using Ninji with slowest fan setting (900rpm).
