Hey peeps,
I've got a Seagate U series 40gig drive that was quiet enough to sleep in the same room when it was in a fanless PC. Anyway one day it just got noisier! just the whine of it running, not seeking.
Has anyone else had this?

Really nice Max. I'm just concerned about the other components needing cooling. Normally some of the other components need some cooling, although not the same amount as the transistors. I'm not sure if it is the capacitors or the inductors. The inductors get hot but the yellow transformer gets hott...
