Thanks. I fixed the images. I am hesitant about cutting the rear fan grill because I wouldn't be able to cut it nicely enough to present the computer as a gift. Covered up the top side fan hole, but left the bottom side fan hole partially open for GPU cooling.

Update:
- Changed case.
- Added automatic fan controller
- Switched GPU fan to Kama Flex 120mm
- Switched Case fan to Nexus PWM 120mm

Since I'm not overclocking, the CPU runs very cool with Noctua
D14 (55 C under LinPack).

I had two, one was good for a while before it became scratchy (it was used to replace a PSU fan, horizontally mounted). The other ticked like mad even when new. I'd get Slipstreams instead (only $6 each).

Just note that the test seems to be open air. There are many cases where Noctua D14/Cogage Arrow's dual tower form-factor can be used advantageously.

My vote is for: SSD + 2.5"
I'm using a Seagate 2.5" 320gb inside a Scythe Quiet Drive for storage, and Intel 80GB G2 SSD for applications. The combo is totally silent and quite fast.

Since you live in Canada, why not get the Venomous X? It costs the same as TRUE, but performs better (better than Noctua U12P also). The mounting mechanism is significantly improved compared to TRUE.

I'd get the S-Flex. I've had four S-Flex 1200rpm fans, two Kama-Flex 1000rpm fans, and two Noctua P12 1300rpm fans. When I undervolt these fans to run at 800-850 rpm, the S-Flex and Kama-Flex were quieter than the Noctua P12. The P12 produced a low rumbling sound that won't go away under undervolted...

Even if you ignore the extrapolations, it is clear that the Nirvana isn't a top candidate for quiet cooling:
1) tight fin spacing
2) inability to replace stock fan (which is poor) without modding
3) poor performance vs noise ratio compared to Scythe Mugen 2 and Xigmatek HDT (they cost around the same)
