another thing you could try is to clean up your harddrive. use a regcleaner, run adaware/spybot and defrag (diskeeper,..).

my suggestion would be to take it back for warranty... if the sound is so loud that you get a headache, it's not normal. normally you should get it repaired (or maybe even a new one...) without any fuss.

I assume you plugged in the casefan(s) in the fan-only molex? If you didn't, you should try that, it makes a lot of difference

Are you 100% sure the sound is coming from your cpu? My guess would be that it's the powersupply, when you crank your cpu-usage up it draws more power and thus the powersupply has to 'work harder'.

Is your pc grounded? I mean, is the plug of the pc connected to a grounded ... (I don't know the english word, but it's the thing in the wall where you plug in powercords ) ? If it's not, your problem could be solved by grounding it.
