I was reading that removing the fiberglass would make it too flimsy and reduce the sound absorption.

I just purchased some Melamine and was wondering if there would be a problem with me coating both sides with maybe a spray adhesive or something simular to keep the fiber glass from rubbing off?

Also would someone recommend a product to do this?

You also have to notice that is the 256meg version of the card, not 128.
