ok, im looking for some noise dampening material for my antec 3700....any ways, a couple things on it, i dont want it to look ghetto, or even ugly, it should look NICE( modding the case too, window on top & side, with LED's so it will be brightish and exposed) and i am going for top notch cooling to...

that's cool its so much better, but 2 quick things. 1) pc health(in bios) is going to have no load on the rails ( cd-roms not spinning, hdd's idling, video card will be displaying minimal details, no 3d at all,) so readings are going to be better then what they are under load 2) bios/any software is...

occasionally, more often now as i am setting up my pc to be quiet, but i am sure that shortly after it will go silent......now onto my PSU, it's wounderful, yea, ok the 12V is at 11.8-11.9, so its not perfect, but im happy! :p any hell, its much better then some wierd Coolmax Taurus 400w psu that so...

well, i've suspended drives bfore, so that would be easy, its just im not sure it will help :/...any ways, it just one drive so it will be really easy, and it cannot hurt :) thanks and ill get it goin! :)

ok, i had 3 seagates, but i got sick of having to go to c: for games d: for movies and e: or somehting for random things. so i got a maxtor...yea ok not the best idea ever, but not the worst.... any ways, its silent except when seeking, when it seeks it gets quite loud, i dont think its vibration no...

there is no way his sb is 99C...they get hot, yes, but he says case is 35C, and there is NO WAY that his sb gets that hot...my dfi infinity at 255X9 with a small heatsink on there and NO case flow = 34C....

dfi infinity/ lan party has a sb cooler as a stock thing...
i just used straightthermal expoxie,and then pop a credit card over pcb, under heatsink, wedge a screw driver in andtwist...dun it with NB, SB, and Vcard ram,and all compontes still work...except nf7 which i killed with water..DOH!

i think i know whatcha talkin about..when you install windows for the first time on a SATA drive, you may have to press F12 or something and "add" the drivers that camewith the sata controller...i had to atleast on my DFI infinity nf2

ok, im making a silent computer, and i just pluged in my suspended seagate hdd's into my zalman 400 watter and shorted the green and black...the seagates were VERY noticable, so i got to thinkin.... 1) the noie will be reduced greatly when case is closed 2) with noise dampening junk, case will quiet...

haha, yeah, most other kids i kno do go with the blingity bling, so ur right :)....as for buggieness, the Abit nf7 went thru 1.0, 1.1(i think) 1.2 and finally caught on in 2.0...so it took 3 or 4 revisions(depending on if there is 1.1) until it got right...im just waiting for the future revisions :)...

not shabby, first time suspending...realized the washers need to be glued in plkace because when twisted, they will just turn.... just got 8 bunge cords from the hw store(small town, no bungee rope stuff..) and cut off the ends...:)

well, i just decided to 100% go to silence...working on getting a zalman psu/pu cooler and gpu cooler...and i will lower cpu oc as neded.. i have good case ventalation, and i wont be going for 100% silene like some ppl with heavy steel and dampener and enlusers etc. but it will be damn quiet :)
