Many items for sale: Downsizing and clearing space.

I've been cutting down on a lot of items lately that I don't use anymore, so I have a few things for sale. The computer internals were used in my WHS for a couple years. No real stress or overclocking. Prices do not include shipping and open to OBO. Hauppauge Media Center remote and IR receiver: $15...

FS: 8800GT SSC w/ AC S1 and custom RAM sinks.

I hate to do this since I hardly even used the card, but I am putting my EVGA 8800GT SSC up for sale. It comes with an Arctic Cooling S1 cooler and custom RAM sinks (made a group buy for them when they came out). There is AS5 on the GPU and ASC on the RAM. This was one of those cards I just had to h...

I've looked at pictures of the SG05 and I don't think a Ninja 2 would fit. I think the drive cage may impede this. I'm just speculating here. I have a couple Ninja 2's and they are rather large. I would second and NSK-2480 as they look great with other home theater equipment.

I recently built an HTPC for my dad using this case and I was able to really make it quiet. I used some Noctua fans spinning fairly slowly as well as dynamat on the bracket that holds the to fans over the card slots and the casing and it really impressed me how quiet it ran. http://www.per128.com/pu...

If the vibration is coming from the active PSU having contact on the case, I have found painters tape on the metal that makes contact with the other parts has been able to get rid of some of my rattles/vibrations.

As it stands, you can't do much at all to reduce the system noise in the current case. You can install games to the hard drive, and you can do some little internal cooling mods (as5, lapping heatsinks, some work with the air ducts pulling air over the heatsink more forcefully) but the console uses ...

During normal operation, the temps probably stay in the 30's. I think I may have maxed it out at 50C. It's been a while since I've tested it all. I don't think you could over heat the CPU in the setup unless you were pumping in 140F degree air from the get go. The fans are Scythe SlipStreams (1,200 ...

I ran it for about 8 hours (while I slept at night) and it had no errors on my setup. I've been using it since then (October) and haven't had a problem. You can run it for 24 hours, but if it's stable for 4 hours or so, I'm sure it will be fine.

I undervolted just the CPU voltage down to 1.032v with an OVERCLOCKED Q9300 (@3Ghz). What you can do is lower the voltage and see if the computer boots up. If not, raise it in small increments until it boots. Once it boots, run a stress test for a couple hours to see if is stable.

If you need that much space, do like InfyMcGirk suggested and get a traditional tower (I used a P180B as ...

I don't think any of these will work with the socket 1366. The new CPU is just a bigger piece.

On the otherhand, you can always keep the screws from this kit to use later (w/ the wrench).

Just know that the Xigmatek is more functional as you can use a small (supplied) wrench with it. This is good for coolers that don't allow you to get to it from the top with a screw driver. It's not a problem with the Minja, but you could always upgrade.
