just how much louder are M1a's opposed to L1a's? I am about to mod my zalman 400b as i have found the installed fan to have horrible acoustic properties. B version is ATX 12V 1.3V compliant -- mainly, higher current on 12V. So you have had a look a the zm400b? Is there much of a difference in the amount of current on the 12v rail? I ask as i am planing to buy a zm400 (zalman products are easy to get where i am) and wonder if it is worth waiting for ...

I've been waiting for one of these to fit on my fx 5900 for quite a while. Haveing a case with low air flow made useing a heat pipe rather dangerous(temps on the card were hitting 75'c underload) so these seem to offer a very good solution.
