Thanks, for the speedy reply rusty. That sounds good enough for me to give him the go ahead, we'll see how it goes and I maybe able to do a comparison between them if I then get the barracuda V for for myself.

HI, has anyone heard one of these, how are they for noise compared to the seagates, or the other FDB drive, they are quiet cheap compared to the others at only £70 for a 60GB drive. PS It's not for me, it's for a friend who's harddrive has just broken (I will probably wait out for the SATA Cuda V : ...

I saw the q-tech at quiet pc but I didn't think MikeC had a great opinion of it, with the coil whine and all. What do u rekon MikeC is it worth considering, or still stick with the seasonic.

thanx

Your test is drastically unfair to swiftech, you have used recent models for the other two companies yet use an old swiftech. there have been 2 revisions of the swiftech from this version and if you look at www.overclockers.com u can see there is a huge, so much that there are 4 heat sinks seperatin...

SILENCE: whats best??????????

What Is the most silent solution for cooling without overclocking, I might even underclock.

MY suggestions are the silverado or the swifttech MCX468U+ with the very quiet papst fan, what do you guys think?
