My CPS-750s aren't silent!

Am I doing something wrong? They're easily the noisiest part of my setup :( Without them plugged in, my PC is silent.. so it's a bit irritating to of replaced my Ehiem 1250 for them!

Do you guys undervolt yours or something? I'm confused :(

Any suggestions where I can put a 2x120mm heatercore in my Lainli PC70? I'm a bit befuddled.. Would rather not slice and dice thou :)

Anyone got this case and set up a rig?

Thoughts on this planned (slightly ghetto :D) rig?

Right - i'm taking the plunge soon. Here's the plan. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/toiletduck/watercooling.jpg Here's my very badly drawn ugly looking radbox! It's kind of half a box, with two open sides and a rad mounted to one of them, if that makes sense. Pumps: 2x cps750s Rad: dual heat...

lot of the 1.6ns RAM is apparently flaky, and so failed XT PEs were resold as Pro VIVOs This is definately an untrue rumour. If you successfully unlock the 4 pipes, the problem you may face is the card cannot run the XTPE clock speeds due to only getting a certain voltage (enough for the pro). To s...

And I have a X800PRO Vivo on the way which I will mod to XTPE speed
Mind explaining how to do this? I was looking at buying an XT... seems a bit poinless if I can mod a pro!

I dont have any grounding in positive\negative case pressure, so hopefully someone will correct this - but I think that having a 7v intake and 12v output causes a pressurisation in the case, which makes dodgy things happen (there's some technical info for you! :)) Also having the rad at the back of ...

I understand DDR2 will be a totally different socket though - are you going with pci-e graphics and regular DDR or waiting for DDR2?

I'm undecided :)

I'm interested in W/C but can't decide on either a front, or top mounted 2x120mm radiator in my Antec SX1030. I'm thinking maybe a dual 80mm mounted at my exhausts would be a nice intro for me to water. What about bottom mounting? Is this acceptable? I figure you'd have to blow air down through the...

Rad size vs relevance to performance

So - obviously a heatercore that'll take two 120mm fans will cool better than a core that'll fit one - but how big is the difference?

Just wondering - since a "double" heatercore won't fit inside my case, but a single one will. Needs to keep a Prescott and radx800 cool..

Cheers -

for the love of god, unless you are definite you're going through with watercooling get a Northwood. Prescotts are *so* hot running they're difficult to silence.
