Re: I am God. Protection from asteroids.

I cannot remember the exact reason as I have spent time in mental hospitals for a number of reasons
all of which are ridiculous in my opinion.

One advantage of Windows 10 is that you can have a slideshow of all your favourite photographs as wallpaper.

I am God. Protection from asteroids.

One thing that I have discovered in the last few months is that I am God. A number of interesting things crop up. The latest to learn today is that we are protected from being hit by asteroids by neutrinos under the control of the supernatural world. Neutrinos are everywhere. They are usually invisi...

This fan controller by Evercool is intended for the CPU fan but it may, depending on the temperature to voltage settings, be suitable for case fans, and it is cheap from here:

Antec case and the Silentmaxx hard disc enclosure

Please can anyone tell me if they have successfully installed the Silentmaxx Aluminium HD-Silencer hard disc enclosure to an Antec case. The silencer seems to be fussy as to the 5.25" bay mounting set-up.

Try Belkin http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatSectionView.process?Section_Id=201476 I don't have any of these models but I have just purchased three in the U.K which are rated at 1200VA and the buzz can only really be heard when you put your ear right next to the units. From 2 metres away they are very ...

I think that they are a waste of money because if you think about it what is the point of putting a power supply without a fan when you need one anyway for the case. Also the fan on the power supply is on the inside of the case so it will be almost inaudible. Fanless power supplies are notorious for...

I've never experienced the fan to ramp up and the air coming out is mostly cool, not even warm but this will also depend on the case ventillation. Also I believe this to be the general view on this power supply from reading other peoples experiences .

I just bought a 4090, unfortunately it gives off a slight electrical buzz which is not loud but definately both more irritating and louder than the 120mm fan. I don't have any irritating buzz from where I sit(close) with the NX-4090. I bought it at end of August from recent stock. I understand what...

I do'nt think you will find a fan that says it is a CPU fan ! The fan usually comes with the heatsink. If you want to swap it for another fan you will have to find a case fan that is suitable in size to fit your heatsink. The only variation that I am aware of is depth. The Nexus is 25mm. I believe t...

I "externalised" 2 CD/DVD devices from their 5.25" bays to make room for a Silentmaxx hard disc enclosure(very quiet now) Dell quoted £30($45) for two plastic bezels. So I bought one of these 120mm filters which I bent to shape, to fill up the gap plus two , tailored to size, bits of plastic stuck o...

" whats the quietest fanned approx 400 watt psu please" A simple enough question ! Based on an excessive(obsessive) amount of time reading posts on this site I believe the Nexus NX-4090 could be it. It is 400W and with its' big 120mm fan will (almost)silently add to the amount of cooling in your cas...

Yes I know , was using the unit of measurement Watts=VoltsxAmperes No, only clicked submit once. If the SilenX is already quiet at full wack then there is probably no point in controlling it. Not at the moment anyway because then the power supply fan will probably become the noisiest thing. Then it ...

I have previously opened the case up and wired the fanmated Zalman heatsink to the motherboard at about 2000rpm (which I have read on Frostytech review is about the "sweet spot") and booted up and got the fan failure message from the BIOS.Similarly, when I connected the SilenX up to the motherboard ...
