Yea, I'm waiting for different review, like from techreport.com, something a bit more in depth. I'd like to see how difficult it would be to swap the power supply fan and such, also, I would like to see the 65-II version, with heat pipe cooling, which may be quieter, that has a 270Watt power supply....

There is another thread on this forums, where someone fried a mobo by placing it on that bag. Those bags are made anti-static by applying a conductive layer on the outside.
Doh!

Aopen XC Cube AV (EA65)

Here's an interesting mini HTPC: http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20040715/index.html

I'm interested in the EA65-II, which lists a stronger power supply and heat pipe heatsink.

Just use the plastic bag that your motheroard came in (which better be an anti-static bag!). You could cut it or fold it to the appropriate shape/size, or otherwise punch holes in the appropriate locations, with the opening facing the side where your cables will entering/exiting and you should be go...

If you are not too concerned with the looks of your case, you could encase the outside of your case in fiberglass to increase it's density, which would cut down noise. Inside your case, you could layer it, maybe? I don't know how good it would work, compared to foam, probably nowhere near as good, u...

Also, the above mentioned measurement statements would also make a difference.

If the case rails allow it, which they usually do, mount it recessed into the case a bit. I did that with my Audigy 2 Live Drive, so the center mounted volume control buttons were flush with the rounded front bezel of my case.
