Re: Quietest 80mm fan

Have you seen the SPCR recommended 80mm fans ? I also have had good luck with Enermax Enlobal 80mm fans. Thanks for all the reply. The Recommended Fans page was the first place I looked, but it hasn't been updated for a few years now. I'm leaning towards the Noctua 80mm with the ULNA to throttle th...

Quietest 80mm fan

Hi all, I spend a few hours researching this forum regarding the quietest 80mm fan, but found no definitive answer. I'm looking for the quietest fan that produces the lowest vibration regardless of price. CFM doesn't really matter. Top contenders include Scythe, SilenX, Nexus, Noctua, etc. I underst...

It's only $50 difference.
ATI X800XL all the way, the performance is at least twice better in high res. and high AA/AF

EDIT: On page 10 in the "ROUND 4: Antec P180 vs. Antec SLK3000B, Hard Drives Seek Noise" it says SPL peak for the P180 was 39dBA while it was 30dBA for the 3000B. Is this correct?
I was wondering about the same thing.

If you really want silence, Aria is your best bet. It's easy to swap the 120mm PSU fan w/ a Nexus 120. I don't have any experience w/ Shuttle, so I can't comment on those.

I shall comment on the 150 range ones 9800 pro and 6600 should perform neck to neck; however, oc'd 6600 should be able to out perform oc'd 9800. Plus, 6600 runs cooler and draws less power I will pick the 6600 if i were you oh and btw, you should be able to play games at least on medium or even high...
