Thanks for the tips. I'm so used to seek noise that it doesn't bother me too much (though for recording purposes, it'd be handy); it's the danged vibrating chassis that I really want to get rid of. :D

I've suspected that elastic suspension would be the way to ease the acoustically-coupled vibration on my Sonata case, but I hadn't considered the first method shown here (suspended from the tray).
