looking at a picture of the mobo you want i would say that the nf4 chip is about 2 inches away from the retention clip for the graphics card, so i reckon the vf700 graphics would provide enough flow to the passive heatsink.

reserator1 question

anyone have their reserator cooling a a64 3000 or above, nf4 nb & a x850xtpe gpu?

i have all of the above but not cooled with the reserator (the res is on my htpc rig: a64 3200 & ati 9800pro)

just wondered if the reserator could cope with my new gear?

cheers

reserator 1 question

anyone know if the reserator 1 can take 10mm tubing (its supplied with 12mm tubing) as i hate having to carry the computer and reserator about if i have to get access to components. i can get quick release valves for 10mm (8mm hole, which is same as zalmans tubing) which would make it easy to transp...

based on a few of the temps listed on the above link i am not worried about my hard drives temp of 46c as it has a 3 year warranty (i dont think i have had a hard drive for more than 18 months anyway due to cheapness and needing more gigs) also because i never bothered checking what the temps were i...

I have a 120g, 8 meg cache spinpoint which have a jvc motor.

when screwed to the case it is very noisy with vibration, so i sit on some left over acoustipack foam (standard version) on the base on the case, which then gets rid of all noise.

Hi folks looking for a new psu and think have short listed between silverstone st30nf or the antec phantom psu and would like some help in chosing one. 1) have read some posts about buzzing on the phantom, so is this just depending on what its powering or overclocking or a combo of both. 2) have not...

what do you mean by "horizontally"? The water will flow at the same speed, regardless of mounting direction. More likely you'll be limited by the mounting holes in the mobo. I ended up mounting mine diagonally: http://home.comcast.net/~rkinder1975/res005.jpg Hi rusty, that looks very nice using the...

you could always use the reserator and a differant cpu block that doesnt need the holes.

however the price of average blocks are about £30 - £35 and you could buy a abit nf7-s v2.0 for £45.00 which might be a better mobo than you have anyway and it does have the holes needed.
