the most silent 60mm fan...or don't they exist...

well, i still got a little heatsink on my cpu, with a NOIZY 60 mm fan on it, and i guess i can't put an 80 mm fan on this heatsink..... so are there 60 mm fans that are REAL quiet, i don't care about how good they can cool, since my system runs OK.... only silence interests me now... or should i jus...

can anyone explain in simple language what happens if i change the FSB ? if i turn it up,,, my cpu works faster....turn it down and it works slower ? is that how it works...?
if so... then what's the use of turning it down, your cpu will produce less heat ?

i got a matrox g550 , pretty cheap, i think its New around $40 or $50 two video outputs, no fan on that card, just a simple nice thing and works great i wouldn't try using onboard vga and an agp card, you might get errors and conflicts think its safer using a simple dual head card, like the one i na...

i got the same motheroard, not a bad thing, but there's one thing that really annoys me: there aren't 4 mounting holes around the CPU which makes it hard to install several heatsinks, or waterblocks for cooling i noticed that most cooling systems seem to work with screws and not with that clip mount...

a simple motherboard for AMD with 4 socket-mounting holes

can i install Reserator when i don't have 4 holes in mobo ?

mhhh, seems like i got a little problem, i got an MSI K7N2 motherboard (ms-6570 atx mainbord), which supports socket 462 processors, the Reserator is made for such sockets, but i took a look at mine, and i don't see the Four little holes that are needed to install the (screws of the) reserator the h...

thanx, well, i'm not buying anything this week, still looking up info, and not gonna buy from ebay since like you said, you can't always trust it, but ebay helps me to see what the bottom prices are for all kinds of ram so i guess i don't even need Cas 2 , 2.5 or even 3 would do for a non-overclocker?

its time to upgrade the memory in my system, i wanna go for One gig of DDR400 i've been reading about corsair, kingston and a few other brands, i first had my mind set on Corsair, but now some people adviced me to look at mushkin, since they seem to have real low latency memory but i do'nt know, any...

did some investigation,

SLK3700BQE and SLK3700AMB

the AMB is like €20 cheaper, and i don't notice much difference between the two, is it just the color that's different?

ok, but if you spent lots of money on aircooling,
after lets say 6 months you might have gathered lots of dust in your case....won't that mess up your fans.... at least thats what i noticed in my system... my fans need cleaning,
so seems like installing WC might last a little longer then....

can you re-use watercooling in another pc?

i wonder,
once you install watercooling in a pc, does it have to stay there,
or doesn't it harm anything to take it out and put it in your new pc?

and how long does watercooling last before it dies on you,
is it like years, or only for pretty short term use?
