For the knowledge of anybody reading this thread, by changing my Power Settings (in the Control Panel) to "minimum" my Cool n Quiet started working properly and throttled up to full speed when required.

ClockGen looks very nice and I can see uses for it, but this is for an MCE box which goes largely unattended on my part and I have to have it dynamic like CnQ is supposed to do.

35Watts has to be tremendously easier to cool than a normal 2400+ which I assume puts out closer to 65 or 70 watts.

The Asus A7V8X-X Sounds interesting, is I checked Asus's website and it does mention that it has a spdif connector on the motherboard - but they don't say whether it is coax or optical. Can anybody clarify?
