I don't think its my MB or Win Xp since my system has been running rock solid with an actively cooled PSU for about 2.5 years now. The problem only started when I installed my Phantom.

What is everyone talking about Folding@home is that some sort of PSU stressing proggie ?

Had no problems for the first 2 weeks then I started getting random reboots just surfing the net with no intensive applications. By the 4th week I experienced 2 power shut downs doing the same thing, I had to flick the power switch a couple of times before I was able to power it up again. I have 2 K...

You do have to have an exhaust fan in the case. I experienced a couple of reboots yesterday while gaming. I opened the case after the third reboot and saw that the 120mm exhaust fan wasn't spinning -- I had forgotten to connect it again after adjusting some cables. Hooking the exhaust fan back up s...

I'am pretty sure its your HDD that is causing that high pitch sound. My Phantom is running good with exception to a few reboots which has happened occaisionally, but I still can't pinpoint if its the actual PSU or power flucuations thats causing it.

AL Case Resonation

I have a KingWin KT-424-S AL case and I notice that after several hours with a fanless PSU the case gets a bit warm and starts to resonate badly with the vibration from the HDD especially from the side panel top latching area, the vibration goes away if I pressure point with my finger on the top of ...

Phantom Reboots

After 3 weeks of use with my Antec Phantom 350 I seem to be getting occasional reboots due to the PSU(I don't see anything else like the lights or monitor flickering) is the Phantom more senstive to power fluctuations than regular active cooled PSUs ? anybody have similar incidencies ?

Your are MAD , look at the ugly heap of junk !

I got a more easier mod to make your PC quiet !, just drill a 1/2" hole in your closet door and throw your complete case inside it and there you got a total quiet PC with justs the keyboard coming out of it !

Try to get a 160g Samsung Spinpoint with the Nidec motor, they are the fastest, quietest and least expensice HDD around. The Seagate 7200.7/8 are more noisy than the Cuda IV and do not have AAM like all the other HDD brands.
