before you go out and buy anything, take out the tuner card and see how loud the gfx fan is. if its still loud, ull want to replace it with something quieter such as the VF700Cu. if its quiet enough, ull either have to find a tuner card that fits in a different slot, or just not use a tuner card at ...

could probably be done if you really put your mind to it, but imo its WAY too much effort. ATX has the mobo on the right of the case, BTX has it on the left side pannel (as you look at the front of the case). im sure you can figure out all the problems that this presents

if there are no other slots that look exactly the same as the one the tuner is currently in, uve got two choises:
a) take out the tuner card and not use it. install a 3rd party cooler on the gfx card
b) live with the noise

tis definately a green power. but then again, is that really a problem? the green power got a reasonable review on this site, so if the fan is switched out to one of zalmans typical CNPS 120mm units (such as found on the 7700 series) it should be pretty quiet on low-medium load

i think itd be more likely to have a low output fanless internal PSU, suspended HDD's, possibly rubber mountings for the optical drives, plenty of space around CPU, and a 92mm intake and exhaust

ive just had a great idea. cut a hole in the casing over the CPU/GPU area and install a 120mm nexus/yate loon etc (with dust filter!). then use x2 quiet 60mm exhaust fans and the ducting to help push out some of the air. dunno if it would work, but it might do

^but why would it not be as good? it looks pretty similar to the SLK series on the inside, except that its got two front 80mm's instead of the one 120mm, and its bigger.
i know the P150 & P180 are obviously going to be better, but they are alot more expensive too

Antec Performance TX SOHO Series

I know you guys over here at SPCR are big fans of the antec cases, but i was wondering why there hasnt been any talk about the new TX series of cases? they come with good PSU's, made of steal, rear 120mm tri-cool as stock, optional x2 80mm at front, good front and back fan grills, relatively open fr...

i didnt actually have to break and pins off my NB47J, i just had to bend 2-3 slightly inwards so that a capacitor on my gfx card wouldnt touch it.

btw, yes the stock chipset cooler is loudish

if your careful, u shouldnt have any problems with damaging the core while changing the HSF

full mesh cases are not great for air flow as you can not control if u have +ive or -ive case presure, and you dont get the "wind tunnel effect" that conventional cases have. not to mention the noise which escapes from the mesh...

but if u like it, then get it
