These are little things that they light and put in the bottom of your central-heating boiler, to make sure it's not leaking. Once lit, they give of lots of thick, harmless smoke without the risk of particles or condensation killing your PC. that sounds like the perfect thing. even better then perfe...

smoke to visualize airflow

i'd like to visualize the airflow in my case to see if/where hot air is trapped and just generally how air flows inside the case. been searching the web but i can't seem to figure out what the pros use or what i can get hold of. preferably a product that doesn't leave my motherboard and components a...

Is the "Quiet" mostly referring to the fact that with less heat generated, you don't need a lot of loud fans? i should think so. marketing speak i soften bashed here in the forums and articles just for that reason. it's often just a load of manure. most notably the dBa/cfm-figures for fans are ofte...

Re: Is a 4 pin CPU fan required for Cool 'n' Quiet?

(BTW, I'm not entirely sure that the fan speed control is part of the Cool 'n' Quiet feature, or a different bios feature, to be honest.) you are right to doubt that. fan speed control is a bios feature completely seperated from c'n'q. all c'n'q does is to reduce the cpu speed and voltage when idle...

My guess is that you could get the power draw of a normal Sempron pretty close to an EESFF by undervolting. second that. you'd probably have no problem running the 1.4v version at 1.25v or even less if you take it down a notch. so if there's a price difference you'd probably be just as happy (and c...
