Properly functional illuminated keyboard?
I've been very unlucky with illuminated keyboards, with both last ones you had to look at 90 degree angle to see the keys and the monitor light itself made it very difficult to see. Only in total darkness and at right angle could you actually easily see the keys. Has anyone managed to produce a prop...

Re: Quick question
I decided to go with SCYTHE Mugen3 PCGH Edition , it's not that big and the price difference is small. http://www.dvhardware.net/news/2011/scythe_mugen_3_pcgh.jpg Although I'm not clear about one thing, if it has 2 fans it has also 2 connectors but motherboards usually have 1 CPU fan slot for auto-r...

Re: Quick question
I forgot to ask, is overclocking 3570k to 4.0GHz considered to be a mild overclock?
P.S.
Noctua products don't exist in my country.

That doesn't tell me how would it cool i5 3570k overclocked to 4GHz, I thought there would be a large pool of people on this forum to know this.kuzzia wrote:Oh, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I was writing about the Shuriken Rev B.

Quick question
Which CPU cooler would keep temperature under 60C(full load) for i5 3570k overclocked to 4GHz, or not overclocked at all(i5 3570 without the k)
Would Big Shuriken do the job in both cases, if not which one would?

Re: Are SSDs really that bad?
Something I've read on another forum- The degradation with both(Samsung 830 256GB or the Crucial M4 256GB) is VERY low if you are using TRIM supported OS and TRIM is properly enabled . Basically if you use either of these two SSD's, you have Windows 7, you have your SATA ports set to AHCI and you ha...

Re: Diablo 3 guest pass?
So, someone did send me a guest pass(thanks again), I downloaded the game client(about 8GB), which was not available before, when the game client downloaded I started the game and then got an error 12 message: This battle.net account does not have a Diablo 3 license attached to it. I don't understan...

Re: Are SSDs really that bad?
I don't know, medium price point for 180GB seems awfully inadequate, you would be able to fit windows, software suits and a couple of games on that. Btw, does anyone know if it is possible to transfer Steam games from one drive to another so you don't have to download them again?

So the SSD failure is higher than HDD!
I knew that people who talked about no moving parts=more reliability were talking a bunch of bollocks.

Of course they are perfectly silent and super fast but you can't get anywhere without seeing someone commenting on their high-failure rate, defragmentation issues, firmware data loss etc.etc. Is this really the case, is it still untested technology? Because I would rather prefer reliability over sil...

Re: Robust storage solution/media center?
With the expection of DVD players obviously, all the devices I've used work better with single-file DVD rips. You mean avi files which have significantly reduced quality, I wouldn't like to do that. Of course you can easily remove any protection with this , as I recall, haven't used it for a couple...

Re: Robust storage solution/media center?
Just one more question about media players . All DVD movies have a structure with root folder containing folder "VIDEO_TS" and within that folder are .vob files. So for example, if I on my HDD create a folder "DVDs" and within that folder folders named after the titles of the movies, would the media...

Re: Robust storage solution/media center?
I was afraid someone would say something like that. So basically it is all random and to reduce the randomness get an extra HDD which is used exclusively as backup, not intermittent use... You think SSD or something new will change this? Also which brand is the most reliable, Western Digital, Samsun...

Robust storage solution/media center?
I have about 400 DVDs and that is really a lot of space and a lot of time spent searching for a particular item and then putting them in the PC. Since now we have media players which connect to PC(mine is always on anyway) this also eliminates the need for DVD players. Basically all of that would fi...

I just watched this review (test begins at 10:00) and I have to say that I'm impressed with the features of this PSU, especially with the PSU fan and case fan controller, flat cables and completely modular design. Re: 24" monitor?
Does anyone know what could be the problem with this exact monitor, it does the exact same thing.
I already got it to the repair shop and he replaced 3 capacitors but it didn't fix the problem.
It can go on for hours without this issue, but it is increasing in frequency.
