Computer is practically silent. even with a Raptor? :? you might get more by selling the parts individually, ie sell the CPU+MB as one lot, DDR as one lot, etc. DDR prices are still quite good. The hard drives are suspended in some of that black rubber strips that someone recommended here. I'll con...

I really don't want to change the heatsink since this computer is about 3 years old and I don't want to spend any more money silencing it. I'm pretty happy with the sound level I've achieved by following all your recommendations. I've already spent a lot buying all the parts recommended on this wond...

Looking for a fan. Maybe you can help me
I need a 120mm fan. However, it has to push a lot of air because my computer is running extremely hot, because of the weather. I'm not too worried about the noise right now, as long as it's not too loud. I had the Aluminum Enermax 120mm fan. It was pretty good, but maybe there are other options out ...

Dual-Channel Memory "Real World" Performance
Is there a noticeable difference between using single-channel memory and dual-channel memory in everyday tasks (internet, listening to music, watching videos, loading programs, etc)?

That model looks nice, but it's too expensive for what I'm looking for. My budget is around $1000-$1200NeilBlanchard wrote:Hello,

What do you think of these LCD TV's?
I'm looking for a nice LCD HDTV and I found these. They are reasonably priced, but I would like to know what the pros and cons are for each model.

The other option I was considering was using a HDTV capture card. I would connect the cable box to the capture card, and the DVI from the video card to the DVI of the monitor. This set up would be perfect because I could use my PC as a PVR. However, I haven't found a good HDTV capture card that work...

Question about VGA and DVI
I have a Dell monitor which accepts DVI and VGA inputs. I also have a video card which has DVI and VGA outputs. I want to connect a HDTV cable box to the DVI input of the monitor so that I can enjoy HDTV. However, that leaves the VGA input of the monitor free so that I can use it with my computer. T...

I need to reduce the refrigerator noise
I've got a pretty silent computer, i'm proud of it. However, my refrigerator is only a few feet from it and the noise that it makes is becoming unbearable. I need to find some kind of material that I can put behind my refrigerator to absorb some of the noise it makes. I cannot replace the refrigerat...
