Yes, i know it's a high speed fan. I'm looking for the best noise\cfm ratio. I've tried a Papst 4412, it was noisey at 6v and above, and at 5v, it pushed very little air. Then, i've tried 2 evercools (one plastic and one aluminium), they are quiet at 5v but they don't start at 5v...they start only a...

Panaflo FBA12G12H1A ??
Does anyone have this fan and use it at 4v or 5v? How quiet is at 5v? Does it starts at 5v? I know this is a VERY loud fan at 12v, but i'm wondering how it will be at 5v... I have the Sunbeam Rheobus, and it's working ok with the Evercool. My problem is that i have the plastic evercool, and it doesn't start at 5v, only at 7v. I hope the aluminium vers will start at 4v or 5v. Anyway, at 4v-5v this fan IS silent. At 7v, the air whoosh is loud, but i discovered that, with...

So, the PC-E motherboards will have a 24 pins power conector on it, instead of 20 pins, like current motherboards have? If i buy the rev3 without the the 24 pin to 20 pin adapter, can i still use it in the future, on PCI-Ex boards, just buying an adapter for it? Same for the molex to SATA adapter.....

Mine doesn't have hte PCI Express Sticker. The ones SPCR reviewed are the upcoming models, I suppose, and do have all the features I mentioned that differ from my A3. My mistake, i've just edited my post... :) So, from Mike's review, i don't understand: http://www.silentpcreview.com/files/images/re...

Well, you said that Mike's review sample has a sticker on the box, saying "PCI Express". So what's the point of putting this sticker on it, if the PSU has nothing to do with PCI Express ? - The PCI Express Sticker - The SATA exclusive line (w 2/SATA connectors. Mine has only a Molex to SATA adapter)...

Ah I see. Don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but basically the differences between my A3 and MikeC's review sample: - The PCI Express Sticker - The SATA exclusive line (w 2/SATA connectors. Mine has only a Molex to SATA adapter) - The 24 pin to 20 pin ATX adapter - The fan, mine is the Supe...

My "luck" with fans...
So...Recently i bought a Papst 4412FGL (120mm) and i was VERY disapointed with it. At 5v has a strange sound (like a little steam locomotive) and the airflow it's basicaly 0 (zero)...At 7v it's noisy (engine noise) and still low airflow. At 12v it's more noisy (terrible engine noise). It's made in H...
