Perfect case for watercooling!

I think the Nexus Breeze is the perfect case for watercooling, because you can mount a radiator at the bottom of the case, with the pump next to it. More info about the case: http://www.nexustek.nl/breeze.htm http://www.soneraplaza.fi/GetImages/GetImages_GetImage_jpg/0,2600,48469,00.jpg http://www.s...

No, he took off the front and the back remains there. It's REALLY stuck there. This is a problem that only this video card (Hercules 9800) has, if i remeber corectly. I was thinking at some kind of mod: the front side of the VGA Silencer to be held in place by 2 screws, but instead the standard back...

Question about efficiency.

I have red most of the articles around here, but one thing still bugs me: True or False (if "false", why?) : If i provide a LOT of airflow (more fans, powerfull fans, etc.) to a normal PSU, then the efficiency will go up? For example: 1. normal cooled 450W PSU, 65% efficiency, "x" Watts to the PC (b...

Hercules 9800 & VGA Silencer?

I have a friend who has this card, and he doesn't know if the VGA Silencer will fit. At the back of the PCB, is a large copper heatsink that he cannot remove, but the holes are there (look at these pictures: http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/Hercules ... /page2.htm). So, any sugestions?

Well, the specs for the Silencer 410 ATX fan are:
22-34 CFM ball
20-32dB(A)

So, i guess a Panaflo L1 80mm would fit nicely, without putting in danger the PSU, right?

But, my question is: where can you buy this model? I didn't find it anywhere!

I've put it on suspension and now the seeks are inaudible, but the whine is still there. I can hear it when i stick my ear next to it...Or from a distance of 50 cm (with my case open). With the case closed, from 1 m, it's inaudible.

Is this normal ????

Ok, i should have entered "c:\hutil.exe", not "c:\hutil\hutil.exe". Now i have access to the "TOOL" menu, and i set the AAM to "QUIET". The seek droped a lot, but i can still hear it with my case closed! Note, that i keep my hdd in the default 3700AMB drive cage and the seeks i can hear them because...

Help me please with a Samsung (SP80) 80Gb noise!!

I got this drive yesterday and it's VERY noisy. If i stick my ear next to it, i can hear very clear the whine. If i close the case, 1 m away, i can hear the whine, but it's very faint...Anyway, the important thing is THE SEEK NOISE! I have a 3700AMB case and it is vibrating like hell and i can hear ...

Mine came same as yours...and I admit, there are not many molex connections. I'm using all but the "extra" one. When I go to the A64 (939 chipset) later this year, I'll be getting a SATA hdd, so that will free up one of the molex connections. So, how is the "noise" of the PSU? :) Are the cables so ...

For the moment, 350w i think is enough, but i plan to upgrade in the future and a good PSU is a long time investment, imo... Anyway, the decision on the "what psu to buy?" is not final. It is VERY hard to choose. For example, my next psu on the list is a Nexus 3500, but i don't know if the psu 120mm...

Enermax NoiseTaker 475 moding?

After reading the review, i'm thinking to buy this PSU. But, i don't know if this will be a safe mod and also, an easy mod: 1. remove the 92mm bottom fan and cover the hole with duct tape (or something) 2. swap the 80mm fan with a panaflo . The air will flow just as in a normal 1 80mm fan psu (like ...

Zalman 400W (B version) is a good buy? I was thinking to swap the fan (don't know what to choose, maybe u could help me?) and make duct mode for it... Or should i just get the Nexus 3500?
