I would classify active members here as viewing pc's as a project. You don't obcess of pc silence like we do and not say our computers are more than tools.

Q fan does not require a PWM fan for the cpu fan. In the Q Fan settings, you can specify what type of fan control you want. I have a PWM Arctic Cooling fan on my Maximus.

There are not a ton of muders in my town, but a decent amount. I live in Michigan, where we have Flint and Detroit, very high murder areas. My opinion is that we should ban hand guns. There is no reason for an individual to have a hand gun. Basically, any gun short enough to be hidden is banned. You...

Should be OK with that. Try out the PSU Calculator that is recommended here to get a close idea of the power draw of that system, does not look to even be close to 600 watts.

It works with Vista fine, I use it. However, Vista MCE does not support blu ray. So whatever application that you will be using to watch blu ray movies, you'll need to make sure that works with the MCE Remote.

I use the Silverstone MFP-51 which is based on the Soundgraph iMon Ultra
Bay. I like the software quite a bit and use my MCE Remote with it (you can use it or the Soundgraph remote). I don't think it supports Linux, but it supports most versions of Windows. I'm running Vista 64.

I think the Aurora is ugly myself. I like the Antec 900, reminds me of the Tumbler from Batman Begins. The P180 is kind of blah now. Though it is a home run of a case on the inside. I do like the chrome one still though. I think the crowd here tends to be older (myself included) and favors a more pr...

How many HDD's are you going to have? What kind of TV card are you using. I'm assuming you are going to use onboard video.

I think the 520 would be fine, that is what I have and it's nice and quiet. Are you planning on running Vista64 bitt? If not, then 4 gigs of ram would be a waste.
