Re: gaming/office system (P150/X2-4400+/A8N32)

X1800...any particular reason for this choice? 7800gtx, imo, is a better choice.

well it definitely makes a difference, but whether that difference is noticable depends on a lot things... for example, the computer's overall noiselevel. The way i see it, it costs nothing to remove the cages or grills, so why not if they* serve you no purpose? Besides, it is fun, and makes the cas...

HEY! I resemble that remark!!! http://www.black-talon.org/pics/2/P150_rear_450.jpg NICE! i like how you removed the psu grill... i think i may try that. lol, and i think "overly fanatical" is funny coming from mike, but i guess thats the point. Actually, i think it helps quite a bit: http://s930091...

yeah, the pxc250s are supposed to be really good. Which ear bud type headphones did u try? The shure e3s or e4s come with an assortment of different size buds so that you get a perfect fit. Yes, at first it is a bit awkward to have something jammed in your ear, but most people get used to it eventua...

concerning the fan grill on the back of the casing, it would be a great idea not to cut it open. http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/4894/cicak4vx.jpg ^ there are lots of these little lizzard in asia, espacially in tropical climates. they grow up to 3" long and only feed on insects, very harmless but ...

yeah, it is pathetic that the neo prob hasn't been fixed yet, but if you put that aside, the neo is a damn good psu. Maybe not a seasonic, but i'm still impressed. I think that when it works, it works well. I've been running it for 2 weeks now, including a 10hour prime, and no probs whatsoever. i ha...

For any doubters, i tried it and it works! For $5, it is indeed a no brainer. May not be as effective as some of those acousti products, but it also doesn't cost a small fortune. I'd post pics, but i don't have a digicam. I'll see if i can find one. edit: now i'd like to find some lighter dampening ...
