According to the presentation, which is linked somewhere on there, it is supposed to be 35db (or something) at normal operation. I thought it was quite odd at first to have so many fans, but then noticed that the top version is supposedly faster than a dual Xeon system.

It would be nice if AGP cards could be flipped upside down somehow- its much more convenient for cooling by exhausts, better for ducting, you can have larger cooilng solutions... but then again, it could also get in the way of the NB and CPU. Although this was mentioned in previous threads. It woul...

You will very likely have to vent the closet, otherwise the heat will just build up, unless the walls can somehow absorb and remove the heat. The simplest thing would be to put a small vent at the top part of the door. You would have to cut some opening. And even better, put the same venting at the ...

That would be nice, but I'm not sure it would be simple to find anything flexible that could be used for a heat pipe. Really can't think of anything, but perhaps it's possible. On the other side, it looks like I will be getting a heatpipe sample made by manufacturer. Then I need to machine out the c...

It has vents in the bottom front and some on the sides. It has a pedestal built in to raise the box above the table.

I'm not sure what you would fit in there if you didn't get the motherboard. Not clear if it is custom or not, but the harddrive and cd plug into the motherboard on a special board.

Yes, very nice looking, wondering how the CPU fan could be quieted.

The best switching designs I know of are very good at modulating input draw based on output current requirements. As for the audio amplifiers there are both I and V designs in use, depending on application. As far as I'm aware, a switching design can be highly efficient with quality parts. It's a m...

Have you adjusted the recording input level for the soundcard? The reason I point this out is that seems to be independent of any controls in the AIW software. You have to adjust it yourself to an optimum level.

What I think you'll want is to elevate at least 1 inch from the ground. I think you would want the exhaust from the box to not be inline with the exhaust from the PC. That's a thing you see, if you invert the motherboard and have the CPU at the bottom and the inlet of the case directly in front of the CPU not blocked by air you can have the air leave behind the CPU. Also you're AGP card is with heatsink pointing up, not down.

You could always turn your case upside down.

But actually what you're talking about is having intake go straight into the PS and exit. The intake would be some vents in the case and only supply air to the PS so the air would be cool air.

I just did simple tests like hold a few sheets between me and a slighly noise Antec Smartpower 350 (dual fan) and Panaflo L 80MM. It seems to do something noticeable. I will probably layer 2 or more sheets together in my tests.
