I would think it would be ok. Lets say at lowest fan volts, the zalman has 6V across it. That means it can withstand an amp of current. I took out the exhaust fan and left the intake fan alone. I've had two harddrives running, but one of them is old. I thought it might be Windows too, maybe it's time for a good reformat.

I noticed that Panaflos don't have the 3rd yellow wire that some other fans have. Can anyone please explain to me what the difference between two and three wires is?

I would think that the 79C under load is a load of crap. Note also that they said the idle was 76C. There's no way that's right. I bet they messed up the install or something. I would buy it now if it wasn't for the review that states a 79C GPU temperature under load. I think there's something wrong with that.
