Re: I5 2500K TEMPS and prolima megahalems, Some advice wante
Well I just don't know what I should do now, at first I wanted to get my temps as possible so I could tune down my fans for silence... but I just can't seem to find out if my temps are good for standard clock at load with such a good heatsink and I dont think its the solo airflow. If I search on goo...

Re: Sandy bridge -- temperatures high and changing quickly?
I have a this at the moment:
I5 2500K
Asus P8P67 Pro
8gb kingston 1333 (used from old setup)
Prolima Megahalems
Antec solo
I did some tests and at stock clocks im idle around 31/32 for all cores, load im getting temps 47/48° on all cores, sometimes core 2 tends to run a bit hotter.

Re: I5 2500K TEMPS and prolima megahalems, Some advice wante
So load temps around 48/50° with megahalems is more then fine right?
Now I just need to play around some with fans (what RMP I want for CPU fan/exhaust), or if im gonna use PWM fan.

Re: Prolimatech Megahalems fan choice
At the moment im using Scyhte SY1225SL12LM-P on the megahalems connected to the asus mobo, i havent made any adjustments in the asus bios profile etc, it starts idle around 300/400, then goes 600 (almost never) and goes 800RPM on a full load stress test. Prolimatech Megahalems fan choice
I just assembled my sandy bridge system but can't seem to find a good choice for CPU fan & exhaust.
My first thoughts was a PWM slipstream for the megahalems, and an noctua at low rpm (400/500) for exhaust? Any advice?
If anyone has a good fan choice for megahalems/exhaust let me know

Nexus real silent fan motor noise
I just got 4 nexus 120mm black & white frame fans,
I used one at 7V and all 4 of them have a little "clicking" weird motor noise, is it possible because they have been in a package for a long time that they will get better once used for a while?

Artic cooling Twin turbo pro OR gelid icy vision
Im planning on buying either a 5870 or 6870 and either going for the AC twin turbo pro or icy vision?
Any suggestions ? what would be the most quiet solution here? also do I need to buy other vrm coolers or will the ones coming with either of those do well enough?
