I'm building a file server myself, and couldn't find a micro-ATX case with enough drive bays to make me happy. So I'm taking an old Antec Solo case (4 HDD bays) and will be adding 5,25 bay adapters as needed (room for 6 more HDDs). If I weren't recycling an old case, I'd have bought something with a...

I'm running 4 Scythe case fans off the IP35 Pros headers, and rpm monitoring and control works perfectly.
I'm also running an Arctic Cooling PWM fan off the 4-pin CPU fan header, which also works like a charm -- both rpm control and monitoring.

I'm running the 120mm Arctic Cooling PWM fan on my CPU right now. It has an operating range from 300-something to about 1400+ RPM, and can therefore be about as quiet as you need it to. I can't hear any ticking or buzzing. But then again, that could be due to my IP35 Pro drowning it out, since the m...

Hit "User Define" and then "Optimize", and you can go much lower than 8V. My IP35-Pro suggested 3.5V as the lower limit.

Thanks, that's what I feared.

Those two Gigabytes are the contenders to the Abit IP-35 Pro that's currently on top of my list, but I was worried about the fan headers.

I am using speedfan to keep the heat sink fan and the fan on the back of the upper hard drive cage spinning at 750 RPM as a compromise between noise and temperature. The rear exhaust fan I let run at the full 12V, and the same for the lower chamber fan. Is that by choice, or do only 2 headers suppo...

I used to run an overclocked 9600 Pro with that exact cooler, passive.

Worked like a charm until I lent out my PC to my sister, she promptly dropped it on the floor, and the heavy cooler somehow shifted on the GPU and killed the card.

Takk, kamerat.

I never even thought of checking Mamoz, since they are getting horrid reviews across the board. But I guess it's worth trying this time. :)

That's what, 1/3 of what Komplett charges? Can I ask you where you found them for that price?
