Hehe, don't worry about it I've ordered 2 from Axion as well. Directron often sells out on the LX-6A19. They've just recently come back in stock at Directron. I ordered a spare just in case (no pun intended).

Good choice on the CompuCase LX-6A19. Because the best airflow is important to you, the Antec BQE would not have been the best for you since the front drive cages hinder air flow.

And you just can't beat the $39 price tag at Directron.

I've noticed similar results with the new 120mm PSU's. This is probably true with most of today's quiet PSU's. Since they don't move a high amount of air, it's important to have positive air pressure. Otherwise your case fans will fight the PSU.

There's another advantage of front intake fans. You can cool your hard drives better.

No. It's definately more than that. It slows the air speed down completely. Having a grill, filter, or bezel, etc. very close the the fan will also causes it to be louder as well. Temperatures also confirm my findings as well. Test it out, you'll see what I mean.

In my experience, it is definately worth it to modify the front of the case to increase air flow. Good airflow like this allows all the fans to be slowed way down, and your temps will drop as well. Personally, for me, I'll never hard mount a fan again (where possible). Fan isolators are definately worth it.

You might save yourself a whopping $4 to get a blade which won't last very long. I say get some Wiss tin snips, it's a steal for $10 or so. They'll last longer, make a much cleaner cut, and won't make a mess.
