im using 2 p2 slot coolers minus the fans, i milled mounting holes
works surprisingly well

i think (remmbering from c*t thread) that the idle noise is less or sumin
i think 3db is ment tobe doubling or sumin, tho it does vary :/
im after a 80-120+ hd thats quiet, and a dvd/cdrom drive too

u could maybe use some foam or speaker wadding, i maybe able to mold u some deflex, big maybe, its a messy process and id want money for it.. decoupling is basicaly where u dont hard mount it, ie hard mount is screwed in, decoupled is hanging/suspended. i used blowhole trim on my maxtor, that has he...

the sandra hd mark is good, around what i got with a single wd 8meg i think

i could be wrong tho, prolly am
could be a review special, prolly just have a 8meg vs a 2meg ram chip
sandra is easy too mess about with tho
as is any hd bench, spessily wid raid :P

normal ide (not sata) with 8megcache
didnt think they make a drive like that, i want it :))
thought it was
sata = 8meg cache
parrell = 2meg
hope the price is reasonable...
