I'd like to know why my idea of the cellphone ring is not considered by anyone. Is it soooo bad that does not even need an explanation?

I am working on several other reference sounds -- certainly more reference fans, including at least one noisy one. The thing I am looking for is a truly universal reference that is accessible almost everywhere, a sound that everyone is familar with and has in their house or office, but it's hard to...

Only using SpeedFan 4.14.

so black cases provide unpowered USB  I didn't say black cases have unpowered USB ports. I just said that they were pointing out on an upside-down mounted BQE that the ports are unpowered. I cannot confirm this, though, since those same ports managed to power up my USB hard drive. I never real...

I have 3 7200.7 of 160GB and 3 of 120GB all of them IDE, and then another 7200.7 SATA 200GB, and I think this last one makes more noise. That's my subjective guess based on spontaneous "mmm... what's that noise?"

Zalman ZM400B APS not in recommended list?

I can't find Zalman ZM400B-APS on the recommended list of PSUs, only the Zalman ZM300A-APF is there. Is this for any reason?

note, that PSU was reviewed here:
