The Scythe site only mentions "NINJA PLUS Rev.B"
How does this one compare to the one tested by SPCR.
It comes with a fan. That's the only difference.

Having just seen this review http://www.dvhardware.net/review113_cooler_master_cosmos.html I have to say other than how the hard drive slots break up the airflow from the front... nice. Very very nice. A case of taking the P180 style and improving it. They remembered to put filters on the bottom and...

I used the search function some more, it seems like it will fit. Thanks to Nici's post and Shadowknight's post I feel a little more secure, although the knobs of the Zalman do seem to be a tad smaller then the ones on the Akasa controller. Not enough to mess things up I think. Keep in mind you can ...

Traya - I tend to name animals after character from movies/books I like. I grabbed it out of Knights of the Old Republic 2. I realized after the fact how unintentionally appropriate it is, since Traya gets her hand cut off with a lightsaber in the game. I originally thought about going with Visas fr...

I thought maybe there was some rotten flesh left on her stump after surgery, so I took her in today... just normal scabbing, thankfully. Apparently she's healing up faster than the doc expected. She's happy, healthy, and occasionally bolting across the room chasing my other cats. She's not so much p...

Up to $300 in donations now and getting some free de-worming meds and vaccines from a local humane group.

I still need more help with the medical bills, so if you could link to this thread on other forums or e-mail details to friends/family, I'd appreciate it.

She's super-sweet and affectionate and didn't seem to be in pain, but I also understand that animals can be rather stoic when it comes to admitting pain. Still, if the doctors say it must come off, it must come off. Being completely scabbed over and leaking puss is obviously a bad sign from the get-...

A little good news:
1) I've racked up about $150 in donations so far
2) They're knocking about $160 off the bill to help me out, so it's still about $800 after getting rabies, basic vet visit, ets, but it's better. So, with the donations I need to scrape together about $650. It's a start.

Adorable Kitten Needs Your Help!

I've had lots of stray cats come by my porch, and I've gotten 2 fixed, kept 2, adopting out 1, and trying to tame 1. I found a 2 month cat on my porch Tuesday night. She is one of the most affectionate, adorable cats ever. He's the first to not only let me approach, but he's been all over me for att...

If you haven't read through this thread, consider going into the SPCR Newcomer section and click on the "spcr... in a nutshell" thread. I've listed every mouse and keyboard recommended as being quiet here, plus links to mods some members have done to their mice to make them quieter.

You might want to check on the "SPCR... in a nutshell" sticky in the newcomer room. I compiled a list of all keyboards said to be quiet by users o n this forum (I might have missed one, but it's pretty comprehensive otherwise).

Maybe one of these, though I don't know if socket 771 for Clovertown is different from the other socket 771s, since they specify the chip names for the heatsink compatibility http://www.micforg.co.jp/en/cat_xeon_index.html
