I can vouch for the HR-03 GT. Currently my idle temps are 44°c with the fan on minimum.

correct me if im wrong but the S-Flex D seem to be the quietest fan, while providing some decent amount of air flow. Is the Zalman just as quiet?

why did MikeC use an rpm monitor to find out what the fan speed was? why didnt he just plug in the rpm wire onto the motherboard ?
