made it to 60000. I have deciphered high 90s percent uptime. this survived a grotesque build by msi with the 865pe chip. Hyperthreaded etc. that is all documented here..this thread is 8 years old now. that was its first 20000+/- hours...seems a long time ago. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd255...

a good rule of thumb, inquire about thickness. if a reply of secc 1.0mm , all good.. the rest needs a recycle bin of trash. Then, after you finally get one, get some two part urethane for cars and smother it. Brand name game is useless.

two updates. I made my own case fan a long time ago, started rumbling a few days ago.. bearings and pieces from 13 years in a bin, I grabbed two thin profile ball bearings. Can't remember where I got them. Never used. Sitting in high temp valvoline grease (for my Subaru) for a couple of years. Now e...

including fundamentalist Atheists LOL, could you define what a "fundamentalist Atheist" is? Such nonsensical contortion would be hilarious...actually I'm surprised you didn't use the word "militant". http://lh6.ggpht.com/_WJylQZPr0k8/TJxCgW8kHuI/AAAAAAAAE-Y/86gCsdb1ZSg/s800/Militant%20Atheist.jpg e...

thanks for another review. It has been some years, I still make my own. I may share with spcr what I have done. I still need hefty. old Prescott 3400. right now I have a bearing in front right behind the blade with a rubber spacer, some drilling on the backside to get a clip in...and the old stainle...

Re: Death of The PC or You're Just a Consumer
You could always continue using the same technology that works perfectly well for you now. This is what they really don't want you to do as computers are far too reliable to need frequent replacement, that's why there is always a need for hyped new stuff. I decided on that some time ago, and agree....

no fear of shorts..heatsinks are actually sharper. the edges are folded by hand for the duct. the decibals due to the shape is cool too. I was careful to leave the dome of round steel as well as utilize the exact half round with a premanufactured edge. I only squared up at heatsink with some bends. ...
