Samsung Hard Drives: I deal directly with a company called "Rexo" (who Samsung have appointed to do their returns and fix faults), I log into their website, I type in the serial and model numbers and a fault, I send it to them, they send me a replacement (very quickly). Hi Walter, yes, I think so, too. I was planning on getting the PicoPSU, but I plan on extending the system with more HDDs in the near future. According to my estimation, the fully built system would consume something like 140-150W (with all components active, for example, at startup), and the bigge...

Re: PicoPSU proper system

I want to power my system with two DVD drives HDD etc. with a PicoPSU is that possible ? I see they make 150 Watt ones  :?: See this URL for a good UK based e-shop : http://linitx.com/search.php?keywords=picopsu&Submit=Search I bought a 90Watt unit from them. Most PicoPSU's have 2 power conne...

Finally, about micro/pico PSUs, I've been surfing another little bit and came across that they haven't any power SATA conectors (at least the few I've seen), just molex 4 pin conector (the power conector of an IDE Hard Disk). Do you know any micro/pico PSU about 90 to 150W that come with al least 2 ...

I'm currently building two NSK3480s, both with an E5400 cpu and a Ninja heatsink. Btw, I am a bit disappointed about the noiselevel of the stock powersupply: it is by far the loudest component in these machines (one built, one to go), which I did not really expect. My main comparisons are the Enerm...

IMO all these ITX cases are no use unless they can manage a 12cm fan. Plus there is more than likely another inevitable problem - proximity to the user ! I'm working my way down to a case of the right size with my Zotac ION system. This has only one fan - a slow spinning 12cm Scythe. There is a 64GB...

I've email Mike Chin about the PM system not working.

Basically I said that I wanted £ 160 plus postage to UK. Payment by PayPal or UK cheque (has to clear first).

Unless Mike can clear the PM system then any email addresses etc will have to wait.

More important is the problem with JavaScript in Firefox 3.5.

I haven't yet seen if v3.5.1 fixes this.

Sort of puts a big dent in the image of Firefox.

Just my 2c worth on this : I got an early B version from a good German dealer for a decent price and am using it with a Pico90W PSU/Samsung SSD. Got my Zotac Ion DualCore Atom on Mon Jun 1 from the egg. The board is beautiful. Love the integrated power. WiFi. Popped into a Morex 350 case from mitxpc and was running some HD video in no time. However, I had to install the included Zotac 60mm fan on the NB/CPU heatsink. That brought temps down...

Zotac Alert !!!!

The dealer where I bought my mobo still has his Evaluation unit, so Zotac must be sending out Evaluation units by mistake - so watch out ! Hi. I'm going in a different route as I don't do gaming anymore. But, even with an Asus EN8500GT in my Asrock mobo, I didn't get more than 90W or so when idling. Now that I've bought 2 mobos with IGPs, the other one (Gigabyte) still does about 90W (has a 1TB Samsung, AMD 4850 and a 520W Corsair PSU)...

Yes, I was aware of the lack of USB support for wake-up, but I would have thought that USB booting would be an obvious must have for a modern mobo. Hopfully the summer revision will fix this. Experience so far is fine. Power use is 30W or so and, since I have had to reinstall a CD unit, max power is...

I've also found a new wrinkle - my PicoPSU has a 20pin connector and many of the new boards have 24pin mobo sockets ! I want to stop using my #2 P182 as it now has less and less stuff in it as I have migrated all the files to a remote NAS and stopped playing games.
