It can also look more like this: [18:08:56] + Attempting to get work packet [18:08:56] - Connecting to assignment server [18:08:56] - Couldn't send HTTP request to serve...

Statuscode 500 means "Internal Error", "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request." It looks like a problem over at Stanfords. However fah should try another server after a few attempts. Can you check a log to see if it has tried to contact other a...

Obviously, I haven't been around long enough to know the history behind the knights. At least, I hope there's a history given the evident animosity that both SPCR and Team Mac have towards them. Dave I tried to find their posts here in this forum but it seem a lot has been deleted or someth...

Conquests and threats are usually calculated based on the weekly score. However on Arachnid's stats you can view the lists based on daily scores (since our score has risen so much the past few days which doesn't show in the weekly score yet). Then they show up on our conquest list again, overtake da...

I only discovered it myself a few days ago. I had a whole bunch of computers folding here at work up to a few months ago. Then they installed a new proxy+firewall and suddenly fah couldn't get through anymore. Strangely I could reach the assignment servers via explorer. I guess they blocked it on ap...

Another way is to install the google toolbar. As you may know google supports the fah project and they've built the client into the toolbar. By default it folds for the google team though, but you can simply edit the client.cfg + registry to make it fold for you. The client.cfg is somewhere in \prog...

Well, you gotta do something to distinguish yourself between all that yellow and orange. There actually was a time when you were noticed if you were not white. Being yellow is no fun anymore now. Seriously, I'm glad with my 343 points, I was stuck to 0 for weeks. I've been moving house the...

Oh how quickly I've fallen from the top-10 now I've lost my internet connection (delibaretely, I'm moving house). And I probably never will get back in there in the future since I was producing just enough to maintain my position. :( Until 2 weeks ago I was still yellow with this setup: - Barton 280...
