Re: Is GA-73PVM-S2H the best bet?
Hi Folks, OK - after some re-researching, I've found the Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H as a possible. It's actually pretty long-in-the-tooth - max FSB is 800MHz - but it does feature HDMI, HDCP, and SPDIF Optical, which are the magical ingredients. D I think you're confusing supported memory speeds with FS...

No, but I am cooling a T7200 with a Noctua NC-U6 in a Fusion case just using the case's 120 fans. How did you mount the Noctua on the T7200? Is it a board that uses a standard P4 retention mechanism? -D No, its an Asus board which uses two flimsy looking hoops. I took the clip off the stock HSF tha...

Do you realise that an 850W PSU is probably powerful enough to run 3 PCs of that spec? Its massive overkill. I have two overclocked 8800GTs, an E6600 and a pair of raptors running off a 520W supply. Your PC would run quite happily off a 450W supply at the very most, whilst still giving you headroom ...

My HX520 is still inaudible in a P180 housing an overclocked E6600 and two HR-03GT clad 8800s, there are four fans in the system, three tri-cools set to low (top, rear and middle drive bay) and one Noctua fan mounted on the CPU cooler, apart from a quiet whoosh from the tri-cools and the odd rattle ...

As for the mounting, if by mounting you mean installation.. i found it was tough.. :( Sorry to say, I think you must have been doing it wrong. I had problems too until I realised that the screws lock into place on either the backplate or securing plate. After that I dis-mounted and remounted the HR...

I'm looking to swap out the tri-cools in my P180 case. As I have a Noctua CPU cooler and fan, I was looking at changing all the tri-cools to Noctua NF-S12 fans. I suppose while I'm at it I might as well swap out the tri-cools in my HTPC (Fusion) too, although they're barely audible from where I'm sat.

What happens with your system? Black screen? Lock up? Screen artifacts, Vista reporting the graphic driver failing to respond, and eventually a blue screen. Since putting the 120mm fan in place and installing the latest beta driver for the 8800s everything seems to be OK now, at stock clocks at any...

Update : Since fitting the HR03-GTs I've had problems with system stability, whether the two are related I'm not sure, but to try and lower temps on the card without the fan I took the 92mm fan off the HR03 and fitted a 120mm fan into the central bay of my P180 I took the tri-cool 120 out of the low...

OK, I fitted the HR03-GTs, first problem was the heatsinks not sticking properly to the PWM ICs, I had some heatsinks left over from a NorthQ cooler that seemed to stick a little better, but the problem seems to be a simple lack of surface area to stick too. Second issue, running two cards in SLI, a...

I'll do some before and after temps and post the results. Nothing too scientific, I'll take idle temps then run the Crysis demo for a bit and take some load temps using the NVidia monitor. Try e-mailling NorthQ, they make an excellent cooler that looks like the Zalmans, but with a quiet fan. I have two, one on a 7600GT and one on an 8600GTS.
According to their website all of their GPU coolers fit the Nvidia 7600 range, but they may know of any exceptions

I buy all my hardware from Scan computers, they are generally good on price and are local to me. They are one of the larger component sellers in the UK. I linked to their SSD page in my earlier post. from a quick scout round of a few sites they seem to be the cheapest for the 32Gb drive. The speeds ...

Scan computers in the UK sell them, but I'm sure you could find them a little closer to home. Try contacting your local Samsung office to see if their are any stockists in Denmark.

I have a pair of 8800GTs in an Antec P180 case. The fans are LOUD at full speed, but as previous posts have said, they don't ramp up to full speed under normal circumstances. Search is your friend...
There must be hundreds of threads on what will and won't fit in a Fusion case.
Short answer to your question.... no.
Max height for a heatsink in a Fusion is about 110mm max. The Ultima90 is about 140mm tall.
