Hey xan,
You can go to the HP website, search for the driver, and for many of the products there is one called something like corporate driver that is MUCH smaller, and at least for the couple I have tried seemed to only install the driver.

Tkpenalty, Are you in any way affiliated with Xigmatek? Your recommendation is pretty positive. Any scientific reason to only use the Frosty tech review and ignore others that do not rate the Xigmatek the top? With no reason, your recommendation sounds as dodgy as you are accusing the other reviews ...

Good point jaganath, What I have read seems to be pretty good consensus that water vapor at some (higher?) level of the atmosphere acts as a greenhouse gas, but at other level, when forming clouds is complicated. When it is in the form of clouds, there does not seem to be consensus whether it is a n...

Floffe, As C02 and other gases increase, the heating effect of the greenhouse affect increase, which evaporates more water, which in turn increases temp more, amplifying the affect of the CO2 itself. Even if water vapor has a short cycle, there would need to be some cause, such as cooling, for it to...

Hey Neil, Good site you linked to above. I had looked at another site, and they had confused debt and deficit on one graph. It was a run up in the national dept just before Truman that was the record high debt as a % of GDP. Truman inherited record debt, and started to reduce it during his term, so ...

JoeWPgh, Please target your shots a little better then. Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter do not represent all conservatives. I consider myself more conservative than not, and there are many innocent folks that also fall under the catagory of your attacks. I do not like arrogance at all, and I find Hannity...

This is an almost laughable example of what I was just saying. But this line of reasoning is typical of modern conservatives, who are dedicated to their own self-victimhood. When faced with evidence contrary to their beliefs, they lash out and blame whatever appears the easiest target - be it libera...

JoeWPgh, Have you ever been part of a minority and felt discrimination? It is not a pretty thing. as a conservative, you believe that anything you disagree with is an assault to be fought off, at any cost in truth or civility - because that's just the way conservatives are. Joe, your open discrimina...

Hi Neil, No argument on your third point. To be fair when comparing the deficit under different presidents, would you not agree that it would be fair to compare the deficit as a percentage of GDP? If the economy were 10 times bigger today, it would not be a fair comparison to just compare absolute n...

Interesting question jhhoffma, Indeed, it is Congress that proposes a budget that needs to pass both houses, and so depending on the size of majority of one party or the other has various degrees of compormise to get passed. The President does have Veto power though, so can at least tie up the proce...

Hey Neon Joe, Thanks for the civil posts. There are many who do not ignore global warming, but also are not alarmed. I acknowledge that there are large cycles of global warming and cooling. It is a demonstratable fact. There have been periods of time when Ice covered much more of the world than toda...

Danceman, The cheap shot at the end of your message adds nothing to your argument. The economy was in deficit for almost 60 years, Reps and Dems alike. Just specifying Rep names there is not being totally honest. There is a lot more to the economy than the deficit. At least looking at a balance of d...

Nothing is noob proof. As soon as they think they have designed something noob proof, someone else designs a more powerful noob. I have real dust problems, and the filters on my Solo/Sonatas do pretty well. I was thinking how to do even better, then saw Bluefront's designs which were along the lines...

A few years ago, I found some Logitech computer headphones at work. The guy on the phone said send them a dollar, and he would send them to me. I as...

Hi Jerry, Try your Earthwatts, it is not near the top, but ranks pretty solidly on the recommended list for power supplies. The calculator at extreme came pretty close to several real life systems for me, and good pretty good reviews here. http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35193&h...
